You can have sexual intercourse and take your chances. Your chances are very good, as research has proven that sperm can live in the human body for up to 28 days! And yes, females can get pregnant even during their period. You can also get pregnant from having sexual contact with an aroused male. The pre-ejaculate has a high concentration of sperm and just rubbing against a female's genitals, can be enough to introduce the spem to her vaginal fluids and give the sperm the ability to travel all the way to the fallopian tubes. They are great little swimmers on a mission! A female can also get pregnant from ejaculate or semen , that has come in contact with the skin and then introduced to the genital area by way of manual sexual contact. And rare but not unheard of, a female intering a tub that was used by a male, where ejaculate was still present, then filled with water, not too hot to kill the sperm, can find their way into the vaginal opening and impregnate the female bathing in that water. There are other ways to get pregnant, but I will not list them here.

Having children can be the best event to occur in a person's life, but do not come with instructions, money back guarantees, or refunds. My suggestion would be to wait until you and your partner are absolutely sure that you both want a baby and also, make sure that both of your families are in agreement. Believe me, once you have a baby, the support of family is extremely important, both mentally as well as physically.
The act of having a child is too simple and I've never heard of a specific position that ensures pregnancy or the opposite, but the act will affect your life, your partners, as well as that of the innocent baby's. Make sure that your ready- Raise puppies for now!

same as Ted. You need to grow up. Sex is for married people. Why would you want to have a baby without the support of marriage? Bringing a baby in the world is a lot of work, physically and mentally. I am 34 and have 3 children. 13 yr old, 7 yr old and 7 month old. I am married and have all kind of help. I can't imagine having a baby without this support. Good luck.

You can usually get pregnant one day a month, yet sperm can stay alive for up to 4 days. Elevating your legs after coitus helps. If after 1 year, you do not conceive, have your partner get his sperm count done. Many times the problem lies there. There are ovulation monitor kits available also. Good luck. A baby changes your life forever and is a huge responsibility. You have plenty of time. Really look at your reasons for wanting a child at such a young age. Good luck.

You get pregnant when sperm are able to come in contact with an egg that has traveled down the fallopian tubes and is laying in wait in the womb. You don't have to have 'complete' sex for this to happen, either, as sperm are very good swimmers. The younger you are, the easier it is to get pregnant. If you are old enough to ask this question and not old enough to know the answer then my guess is that you are NOT OLD enough to do whatever it is that you are doing that is making you worried about getting pregnant! So please stop doing whatever it is, find a trusted older person to talk to, and get some sense talked into you.

If you're not married, you shouldn't even think about this subject. If you are married, then you should find out when you ovulate. If your period is normal, it's usually the 14 day starting with the first day of your period. During the next 48 hrs, you should have sex. If your period is abnormal, buy an ovulating kit from your local drug store.

Do yourself a favor, don't get pregnant. You're only 19-20, live your life for a while.

prop your legs up to tilt the pelvis and then lay like that for like an hour after intercourse. Also, have your partner abstain from any ejaculation for 3-4 days. Make sure it is about14 days after your last period.

By allowing sperm to enter your vaginal opening. Pre-ejaculatory fluid also contains sperm, so even if your partner doesn't orgasm, you can still get pregnant if he penetrates you. Many forms of birth control offer SOME degree of protection. Talk to your doctor for more info.
