I've heard that used in marriage as a rule for men too. Does this mean that women are sensitive to criticism in relationships (pride) or is it an establishment of control or respect in the relationship? Is it just not worth a guy arguing some things because a women will make life hell for him?

Hmmm, well that's a loaded question. I personally don't think the woman is always right. And I think it's a big mistake when women approach their relationships that way. I do believe there are certain issues that a woman is "always right" about... or rather that you just shouldn't argue about. Some of those would be:
wedding planning
And well, whadya know? That's the only one I could come up with. LOL. Don't get me wrong, I am very happy to be a woman and embrace my femininity. But to answer your question, yes some women do approach their relationships in that way. They think it's getting them ahead. But then their husband/boyfriend usually leaves or cheats on them with someone who "understands" and "respects" him.
I believe a woman should, first of all, choose a guy who she doesn't see TOO many things she'll have an issue with in the first place. And second of all, she should choose her battles. I have also found that showing genuine respect and love will get him to do a lot more of what YOU want him to do... than acting like a ***** will. That won't apply to EVERY guy; but it will if you choose the right one.

Women have stronger instincts than men, but I disagree on "women are always right". Maybe on some points, yes, but in other times, no. Women also have pride like men but it doesn't mean that women wanted to control the relationship. Some women wanted their men to take charge of everything. Because of instinct, women can feel that their lover/guy are cheating on them. Or they are just being malicious. But because of women's instinct, the infidelity of guys are found. I agree to that.
I disagree that women will make the life of men hell for him. We have individual lives. If a man makes a woman take charge of his life, what kind of guy is he? Men are used in taking charge of everything. So men can stop women from making their life a hell. Besides, it's a man's world right? Every matured person (men or women) will agree to that.

As a married man I found out that generally a woman is always right. It is us men who just think we are. But it always comes back to what the woman said in the first place was right. It is also respect not fear that men even say a woman is always right. Most women can out wit a man any day. You will hear a guy say "yes dear" more then you will hear a woman say it. look at colleges and businesses, they even found out women when they are pushe to use there smarts they will out smart a man every time.

OK, first Breemay is very correct with her answer.
Women have more common sense. In marriage, the two of you do things together and help each other go thru life.
Things guys do wrong; go out and buy something expensive, like a boat or a motorcycle, before BOTH of you discuss it. The money belongs to both of you, not separately.Women do not say NO to everything you ask for. Sometimes they have to adjust the budget so your dreams can come true.

Women are burning off excess frustration from "male oppression". Unfortunately, they've never been oppressed. So "this women are always right" bs, is just bs. No person, no matter race, gender, or creed is always right. If they are, they should play the lottery.
She's just saying that because it's a good way to demean men. She feels more powerful that way. And if you say that women aren't always right, you'll be called a chauvinist. So tell them that a woman (me) told you that they are just acting silly.

To save yourself a lot of crap in relationships just agree with whatever we say...we a re so stubborn and pigheaded we have the NEED to be right...just agree with your wife and complain later! LOL Seriously though, you should express your own opinions and beliefs....some women find that appealing. I don't want a man that is going to back down to whatever I say. I want my man to defend himself.....otherwise it isn't really a relationship. Speak your mind and find a good woman who appreciates you for you....that is where you'll find love. Good luck, man!

I dont agree with that ...Women are not always right...being a woman myself I think alot of females are just super sensitive...I know I am..my family knows me very well..it takes a special man to understand my needs just like it takes me to understand his...and Men are not always right either

LOL i hear it all the time men talking at work yup never argue with your wife or gf cause they are always right. Not always they are right but most woman won't concede they are wrong and therfore it is easy to accept then to give up. In my family lol we are both right then we sit down and we research it . better to know the real reason or truth then to just give up.

It's not that we are always right... we just value the knowledge that we did or said something that is valuable and we want to be acknowledged for it. I don't think women are more right or wrong than men.. like I said before, I think we just complain louder when we are proven wrong..lol
