CHRISTIANS, YOU KEEP SAYING JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS(MURDER, RAPE, ECT.) WHATS GOOD ABOUT THAT? HOW IS IT GOOD THAT SOMEONE DIED FOR YOUR DIRT? THAT'S JUST AS EVIL AS THE OLD TESTAMENT

I am not saying that the OT should be discarded. But Jesus did lay down some new rules in the New Testament. For instance, Old Testament Jews offered burnt offerings, but do modern christians or Jews do that? No, because Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. When Jesus came to the earth, he set down rules that we must obey as new Christians, under the blood of Jesus, not some animal.

Before making some quotes in the bible you have to read the entire book so you will not be out of contexts.

There is a difference between living by laws(before Jesus Christ) and living under by grace(after Jesus ressurection).

i'm with you guy, and that is because i considered my share of discrimination because i'm an atheist. per chance the evil christians aren't any more the weird and wonderful ones out, yet particularly a scapegoat used by utilizing the christians. some christians would declare to succeed and polite, yet how can they even as their very faith is the reason they are the way they are? they blame it on an intensive faction to take the warm temperature off themselves, yet actually, they are each and every of the an same way, because they trust interior an same god, interior an same e book, interior an same destiny, and interior an same philosophy.

If you are Atheists why do you care what we are doing? You don't believe God is real so why do you care? Why waste you time writing about something you don't care about and you don't know anything about.
I mean you take the time to look all this stuff up...

I don't care about Atheists or witch's. I don't sit back looking things up about them or the way they believe I could careless.

All this stuff you posted has nothing to do with anything. Your just taking verses and twisting them... It's not worth taking the time to try to explain it too ya. Your Atheist after all and it would be a waste of my time.
Have a good day!

it is not that the ot should be disregarded, but times have changed, take our societies legal ramifications , laws have been incoorperated that are much different than in those days, and lets not forget, in the ot Jesus had not clarified many issues that have been clarified in the nt, and we did not have salvation because of the blood of Christ.
think about what you are asking.
millions of Christians would not serve God if they did not believe He is love, these isues have been debated and the truth remains....
His name is Jesus.

in addition to your addition, youre obviously full of anger and just wanting to make a blanket statement. if youre willing to soften your heart and open your mind, you might actually HEAR what these people are trying to share with you.

God is our judgment on what is or isn't evil regardless of what it looks like. We must obey Him. Those acts are not practiced now because of the grace everyone received when Jesus died on the cross.

No, the old Testament should be disregarded because Jesus died and there is a new Covenant because of that.

But that's why Christ died. He died so that we wouldn't have to. For example, say you don't listen to the priest and you go to trial. The judge looks dead in your eyes and says "the law says that I should put you to death so I'm going to do what it says" As they go to take you away for execution, a man runs into the courtroom and yells "let me take his place and let him go free" And the judge says ok. This man dies in your place as the guards are unlocking your hand and leg cuffs. That's what Christ did. He took your place so you don't have to die. The OT gives us the glimpse what we would be going through if Christ didn't come.

Matthew 24:3-14:

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

and somewhere in Psalms says,
"Be still and know that I am God"

You are as selective when quoting the Bible as many churches are. To say ,"all real christians" implies that you know what "real" christianity is. Judging by your selection of verses I can see that you do not. We know from logic that words like "all", "every", "none", "always", and "never" have inherent flaws and can, and do, produce faulty reasoning. To make the implications that you have made about real christians is as ridiculous as saying that all atheists are stupid!
