If you are going to spend that much on a White Wine you may need to consider high end Chardonnays or obscure varietals like Viognier, Pinot Gris, Alsacian Reisling, or White Burgundy. Most of the Santa Barbara Chards are showing well in '04.

Caymus Conundrum.....an unusual proprietary white blend (hence the name Condundrum.) While the winemaker will divulge that it includes chardonnay, sauvingon blanc and muscat canelli grapes they won't tell you the exact blend each vintage year. The wine starts slightly sweet with a creany texture, finishing with notes of citrus....yummy for a summer white! About $24 a bottle.

Try "Massi" . Italian red wine , great with just about anything. Not too dry. I prefer white, but will drink red if it's Massi.
