did ya know tomatoes are really a fruit? In the summer I slice in half yellow plum tomatoes and put them in a stone baker. I drizzle them with good olive oil and cut up fresh herbs(like oregano, sage and basil) from my garden and grind them with salt and pepper. I slow roast them in the oven for over an hour and a half. These are so good, I never have leftovers.

Applesauce is the only fruit I serve, pretty much everything else is reserved for dessert or snacking.

It depends on what part of the world you are in and what season. Here in the Philippines, rainy days has set in and we love avocado and pineapple. It comes cheap because of the season. Its available everywhere here.
