When do YOU think your boyfriend SHOULD and SOULDN'T get u something like a gift, etc....

A "should" gift isn't as valuable to me. It's expected and lacks spontainiety. But I love anything he brings because he was thinking about me. Those are the gifts that melt my heart. And guess what guys....they don't even have to be expensive!

I think us women in general put too much pressure on men about gift giving. Some men have the knack of getting the perfect gift at the perfect time..others are just plain clueless... Don't judge your partner for not getting you what you had in mind... men are not psychic..lol If a holiday is coming up that usually denotes exchanging gifts then just simply say... "how about we get each other _________ (fill in the blank) for Valentines Day..or Christmas..etc Now for occaisons like Birthdays or anniversaries etc... drop hints, don't be subtle, men DO NOT understand subtle..lol Be direct and if he gets you what you wanted then JOY JOY!!! If he doesn't, it's not the end of the world.. you will get over it. lol Shalom.

Definetely on your birthday, aneversery, christmas. Really randomly is cool. It's nice if they do it out of the blue. It's a nice surprise. Guys don't get me gifts, so anytime would be nice. I lied to this guy about my job before and he found out later on. I felt bad so I bought him some clothes and accessories. He eventually got over the fact after many months. But he gladly accepted the gifts. I felt a little better. When you make mistakes is ok sometimes. Just as long as it's not often.

I think that your boyfriend should get you things all throughout the year. Special occasion gifts are sooo expected. There is never a reason that he shouldn't get you a gift.

I think he can get you a gift whenever he feels like it. But he definitely should get you something for Valentine's Day, your Birthday, your anniversary, and Christmas.

Birthday, valentines, Christmas... and anniversary! I would like to get flowers, chocolates and diamonds every week but that isnt gonna happen so I deal with getting stuff 4 times a year.

Random flowers and little things like chocolates are always okay because its letting you know that he still cares. But big gifts, only on a holiday or aniversary or birthday.

mostly on holidays...gifts are good. I don't expect them all the time...every once in awhile a suprise gift is nice...even if its just a coke from the store or a rose...just something to let you know..hay I was thinkin about ya...
