if i dont get out i might end up back in a mental hospital!

How old are you? Do you have a job?
Can you really take care of yourself if you were in a mental hospital recently?
Do you think you are being realistic, or are you just unhappy with your situation?

Do they really not take care of you? In what sense? I guess it all depends on what the situation really is. Its one thing if you are just unhappy with the rules or if they truly treat you poorly. Only you know the true situation. It would be horrible if you called the police & they got in trouble when they really weren't bad but it would also be horrible if you end up in a mental hospital or with severe mental problems because you never got out of there. Talk to any adult that you trust. I don't feel it needs to be a counselor necessarily, any adult will have the means to get you the help you need. Just think it through before you make any moves. Ask yourself if you are being realistic & if you will have any regrets?

If you are over 18 they cant not let you... if you are under you cant do much but runaway.. which is a terrible idea... or wait it out. You could try emancipating yourself but then you'd need ot prove to the courts you could live on your own.

They want you to be happy but I'm guessing your a teenager and you don't understand their point of view maybe you should try sitting down and asking them to explain their side then you explain yours. You should try talking to them. Believe it or not they will listen

if you really want out do what i did. call the police, tell them your situation, if they say there is nothing wrong, tell them you will kill yourself if you stay here one more night. they will be lagally required to evaluate you at a hospital. tell them you dont really want to kill yourself, you knew it was the only way you were going to get out of there. they will investigate it with cps, and if there is anything wrong, you will be taken out.

I'm in the same situation and can only let time make the decisions i can't make now. Have faith that what suposed to happen will. You always have options even if they make your situation harder. good luck!
