so the other day i got a phone call from one of my friends, and we like each other. but she called me because i told a friend of mine that she went to the doctor, which i wasnt supposed to do, because i did not know that it was a secret. so she was very angry with me so i sent her 12 dozen roses. im only 13 yrs. old, and i was really upset, though she loved them. was that the right thing to do?

Clear communication can't start early enough. When people tell you things, do a quick check to see if it's community information or private info. A good rule for the rest of your life is "Don't run your mouth."
I assume you also SAID you were sorry in addition to sending the dozen (12) roses... if you actually sent twelve dozen roses you just spent about $250 bucks. I've never met a 13 year old with that kind of cash!

Well my good thing is sometimes my worst quality, and my bad thing is sometimes my good quality... Good - Like you I'm overly honest, but many times to a fault. For some reason I never think of "cushioning" some of my truths. Of course this one is good too because I'm a very trustworthy person which is something that everyone enjoys having around. Bad - Very competitive, when I get into something, I get into it BIG TIME, while I don't resort to cheating or anything, I can be very hyperactive and obnoxious occasionally during it. On a positive for this one though, I am never willing to give up no matter how bleek the situation may seem because of this strong competitive spirit.

You didn't send her 12 dozen..you mean 12 roses, I hope. Even 12 are very expensive. That was incredibly nice of you. If the guy I like sent me ANYTHING I would be delirious. She is a lucky girl. You are a very generous and caring young man. Don't let her take advantage of your good nature, now.

You might have gone a little overboard, But who cares roses were awsome and you sound like a really sweet guy and ther arn't many of them left. Your friend better hang on to you tight because a lot of girls would love to have a guy like that.I know I would. you did the right thing

i don't really think you should half to apologize, she didn't tell you it was a secrete so it's her fault not yours but it kind of depends on what she went to the doctors for. giving roses to a her is a nice way to show that you didn't mean it. by the way I'm 14
and well just don't date tell you're 16 cus i tried and you lose alot of friends that way.

Ahhh, starting at such a young age. If she felt better than yes. You are sweet, don't change as you grow.
