We all were created by God spiritually,making us all spirit brother's and Sister's and before Satan was the Devil,he lived among us as one of the most intelligent of us and HE yes he chose to try to take us all down with him by wanting us all to listen to his plan to make everyone be GOOD and keep ALL commandments with no free agency. Well Jesus wanted us all to do what Father in Heaven wanted .
Read Job 38: 4-7,now read Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are out thou cut down t o the ground,which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in sides of the north:14: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. this is what satan was and what he wanted to do and God would not allow it and he cast him out of heaven along with 1/3rd of the host of heaven . Satan and his followers are here upon this earth and they here to tempt and torment. I would never say that we are related never you know why he had his chance and now he wants us all to blow our chance to have a family and be with God and Jesus.

Yes - the Bible does speak of their relationship. Satan was once an angel in heaven with high powers, but he refused to submit to God's authority. He wanted to have the glory that was due the Father, so he [Satan] was cast out of heaven along with 1/3 of the other angels who refused to bow down to God as well. This is where Satan and the demons came from.

They have spent their time ever since then trying to take the glory away from God. That is their ultimate goal.

In the beginning Satan was a heavenly angel but wanted to rule over God so he was thrown out of Heaven. Jesus and Satan are not related they are against each other. Satan wants people to believe that Jesus is not good and that he is. In fact, Satan is evil and Jesus is perfect and the Bible tells you that Satan is the devil and Jesus is the Heavenely father's son.

Absolutely not. Jesus is the spirit of God made flesh: Satan AKA Lucifer was a (creation of God) who was an angel in Heaven named Lucifer,and God cast Lucifer out of Heaven into Hell: No relationship,except between Creator,and Creation;

Before time, God created His angels. Satan was an angel, in fact, he was the top angel so-to-speak. But then he got power hungry and rebelled against God. Here's the tricky part. Jesus was there when God created everything so Jesus was there when Satan was created. They are not related but Satan has been against Jesus since before time.

No, they are not related. In fact, Satan predates Jesus by several centuries, as Satan appears in the Old Testament and Jesus, obviously, doesn't appear until the New Testament, which takes place several centuries later.

Martin S. - The "He" in that quote from Colossians is God the Father, not Jesus. The fall of the angels came WAY before Jesus was born!

Angels are created beings. Psalm148, verse 2 speaks of the angels praising God; verse 5 refers to them as being created beings, brought into existance by God. Colossians 1:15-17 says that Jesus Christ existed with God before anything at all was created, therefore only Jesus was instrumental in Creation and in creating the angels.
The book of Job, chapter 38, verses 6 & 7 implys that the angels were created before the universe and man was brought into being.
Their function is to worship and serve God, and to minister to His people. Jesus and Satan are not related. They are arch-enemies, if you like. Satan was a very high ranking angel who got too cocky and got bounced out of his archangel role for his arrogance. He has nothing but contempt for God and those who love Him. Satan's main aim is to cause as much trouble as possible for mankind, and especially those who follow Jesus Christ, in hopes that he can frustrate them and get them to turn their backs on the God who created them and wants a relationship with them and loves them so much that He provided a way to get to know Him personally, thru Jesus Christ.
C.S. Lewis wrote a very interesting book called The Screwtape Letters, which features conversations between Satan and his angel followers. It give a very good insite into how gullible we humans can be when it comes to Satan's manipulations!!
If you want more info. on Satan and his role, check out www.bible.org and go to the Survey of Bible Doctrine: Angels, Satan, Demons. Very interesting stuff there. Hope this helps.

A great question and I don't know, but Satan was a fallen angel and Jesus was God made flesh. If Jesus was Satan's brother, it would mean that Mary, Jesus' mother, was a surrogate. Maybe artificial insemination, as Jesus was the son of God, made man.
Think about it.

Satan was created by God to be the Angel in charge of worship. Satan and Jesus aren't related other than the fact that He (God/Jesus) Created him.

If by "related" you mean in a biological sense, the answer is no, because while Jesus had a physical incarnation, Satan did not.

If you mean "related" in a broader sense, the answer might be considered yes in that both Jesus and Satan are of heavenly origin, although in the Spirit realm relationships are not reckoned according to human terms.
