Then we'd get bonked on the head with lemon drops and gum drops. The citric acid would burn our eyes and the sugar would rot our teeth. Kids would get hyperactive and grow up to be useless, lazy and fat.
What if people were made of ice cream and the rain melted everbody? The smiles would melt off our faces and we would ooze down into the storm drains, our sweet-tasting vital life essence mixing with human excrement.
What if instead of raindrops, the sky rained cockroaches with big sharp teeth? Maybe then they would eat the gumdrops.
