At any moment, every person reading this is committing some kind of sin. Some sins are really bad (mortal); other sins are relatively mild (venial). Essentially, at any moment a person is becoming either a more heavenly or more hellish creature, based on that person's will and decisions based on given circumstances. The strong sexual attraction felt between a man and woman in a marriage is not sinful. Looking at another person's spouse in a lustful manner is sinful. The Lord knows every person's weaknesses, and even knows of any shameful perversions that might plague that person's mind--important thing is what that person tries to do; i.e., what decisions that person makes to the best of that person's abilities given the circumstances. If you read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, he gives excellent insights into these ideas. Hope this helps.

Tough question. No, it's certainly not impossible. Yes, it is a struggle, especially right before you get married. There is a clear difference between love and lust, (and desire) but it does get difficult.

I'm not sure what the absolute answer is.

But the best thing to do is just really cling to God and hold on to Him for dear life. Better yet stay close to Him long before you get to that place. Just remember He loves and doesn't condemn. It is a struggle well worth going through though. That's all I can say.

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."

Many blessings.

lusting is only a sin if you lust after something that belongs to someone else. Lust in the carnal sense was never even thought about when that was made a sin. Lust is just a word for an unnatural craving for something, be it chocolate, or shoes, or sex.

remember biblical marriages and sex are for the purpose of procreation. lust isn't supposed to enter into such a blessed union. lust is condemned because it causes the body to look at other people in a way that is purely recreational. the temptation to stray from your marriage or vows. in todays world it is a trap.

1 Corintians 7:1,2,9
1) NOW CONCERNING the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
2) Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let avery man have his own wife, and let every woman her own husband.
9) for it is better to marry than to burn.

Lust leads to fornication, LUST leads to fornication, LUST leads to fornication.

St. Matthew 5:28
28) But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman an to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

This goes for the woman lusting after the man also.
I pray for you. Amen

God isn't going to condemn a person for having sexual desire for their future spouse. It's not a sin to look forward to enjoying the pleasures He has designed in the marriage union.

If lusting alone is a sin, we're all in big trouble. It's not a sin to desire something.

well its impossible not to lust or sin. thats why Jesus died on the cross in the first place. we're always going to sin, and if we repent and turn away from sin and accept Jesus you'll go to Heaven.

No.

Love is a choice. It's not an emotion, or being turned on by someone's body. It's looking at someone and saying "I'll love you forever. Even when you're ugly, or sick, or just plain crabby".
