Anyone been romanced and scammed by a crude oil merchant in London?

They send you an e-mail and ask you to IM them. After a couple of weeks of romance and promises of love they suddenly have a problem and need money.

No, but that's the first sign of a scam. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's a red flag going up right now saying that there is something wrong with this picture.
