i met this guy on xanga, and he seemed really cool. we would message eachother a couple times a day and even talk on the phone. we finally met in person and it was kinda akward but we got through it, he was really quiet and shy acting. he left and told me to call him that night. i did and we had a great conversation. that was last week, i called him friday after he hadnt called me in 3 days on his own. he was sleep and said he had been workin all day and to call him later. i decided not to call him to see if he would wonder why i hadnt called him and call me. its now wednesday and i have yet to hear from him. he never calls on his own, i always have to call him. but when we talk we really vibe well. i dont understand it, why is he acting like this? why cant he call me on his own??

and i even left him a comment on his page saying "call me" ...

is it a long distance thing? Maybe the vibe you are feeling.. isnt the same thing he's feeling. Maybe you are interested more than he is. Guys dont call girls everyday! If he goes a week without calling then call him... other wise let it go, hes probably just laid back and not looking for anything serious. So stop calling him.. if he calls with one week then good, otherwise let him go, hes obviously not what you are looking for and you cant make him do anything. Sorry!

call him and stay the same thing you posted i would also add something about the shy part cause its very EZ to talk on the phone or chat but some people need to warm up so they feel confident when talking in person. also let him know that's its ok if he calls you even if it;s just to say hi.. his a guy after all and they don't take hints ( well maybe if a MACK truck hit them i think they would move after the fact)

I feel you really have a connection, I think your guy is kinda afraid of rejection that when he calls, you will say that your busy or something. Try calling him again you need to work for what you want and try to tell him that he can call you too if he wants. You will feel if he's into you or not in time.. good luck!

he probally doesn't want to seem like one of those guys who is very attached and wants to play it cool. i'd give it about a week or so and call him if he hasn't called you and just ask him. if he gives you the same excuse then just forget about him because you shouldn't have to do all the work!

did you notice that things are fine when you catch him at the right time? possibly because there is a reason that he cant talk to you.
