That is not your only answer. I don't know where you are getting your advice, but the first place I would check would be a RESPONSIBLE ADULT, as in Female Teacher, Doctor, Health Clinic or Women's Shelter. Police Department can connect you with the Women's Shelter. Believe me, don't bring an innocent child into your horrendous situation. They deserve a much more mature and stable family!!! Get help now and learn skills so that you will never have to be at the mercy of others. Learn how to be an empowered woman. I hope that you can learn from other strong women. Read or listen to Oprah. She grew up poor and sexually abused. Boy, did she ever overcome. You can too! Don't you settle for anything LESS!!!

Getting married at 16 is really not the best idea....it all seems real good, but you will change in many ways over the next few years, and your wants will change as well. If the two of you are meant to be together, it will happen much easier if you wait until you both grow and learn first. I've been pretty "settled" since about 17, and I am certainly not the same person at 31 that I was then. I married at 18 and divorced a year later....started dating another guy at 19, but waited six years to marry, and now we've been together for 12. If you both want it....it can wait. Good luck, and just consider one thing........where do you want to be in five or ten years?? Can you get there if you concentrate on marriage now instead of your goals??
