Not lame at all.
I travel for work so I am usually one of those at the hotel bar by myself. It gives me a chance to unwind and perhaps have some social interaction.

It depends upon whether or not she goes to a place where everybody knows her name (remember the Cheers tune?)
Seriously, a bar is simply a social scene. That's like asking how lame is it for a girl to go to the mall by herself-- or even her yoga class. If you're familiar with the place and the crowd, you're just one of them anyway, so there's nothing lame about that.
Maybe it's lame to always have to have someone with you to do anything or go anywhere. You're not lame, if you can stand and walk on your own two feet. If you can't do that... then you're lame. Literally & figuratively. Lame horses get shot. Don't be lame and you'll own the place.

not lame at all! I started going to a bar alone after work when I was new in town. I met my bestest friend in the whole wide world there!!! And, yes I mean a person! Not a drink! :-)

it's not lame, just be careful. As soon as you get there, ask the bartender to keep an eye on you so you don't get roofied...also, before you go, make sure you can get a ride home if you need it, or be sure to set aside some money for a cab ride home.

What's lame about it, paying customer just like anyone else. What's lame is that people feel they have to ask that question. Nothing against your question, just society.

I think you can do whatever you want!!! It's not lame! Looks don't mean a thing, guys don't care about going stag! Just because your out doesn't mean your out looking. Except looking to relax have a drink! ENJOY!

as long as you don't dress like a hoe and act like you want someone to take you home and treat you like a piece of #ss, then why not. i new a girl who met her husband that way. she just started playing a solo game of pool and he started talking to her and so it began. she didn't go home with him of course, cuz that just proves she would be out for the sex. I hate to see those girls who strut around in the mini skirts and six inch heels and dance on the bars and they wonder why no one talks to them...cuz they are HOES!!!! might as well walk around with (Screw me, i'm easy) written on your shirt. so just be tasteful about it. i enjoy a drink or two after work before picking up the kids from daycare, so i'm not lame. enjoy the solo time. its fun to sit and watch people makes @sses of them selves!!!!!
