im helping a kid 2 find ways 2 do it to go 2 camp she wants to do it herself not using anybody's $ but herself she doesn't want selling old stuff(i.e. toys) she really attached to her old stuff

She could earn it by babysitting or getting a paper route or something. Maybe a bake sale, or get some friends to help do a car wash. $150 isn't really that bad... you can do it. Good luck!

you have not mentioned how old the kid is, is the kid quite grown up, then can take tuitions or teach younger children for some lumpsum money and can do errands for elderly and needy persons, help sick patients etc. depending on the capacity that kid can take up, surely you can fetch that amount for the kid to achieve her goal.

Maybe she can run a garage sale for her parents and other family members and then take a percentage of the sales as payment. It would be like a consignment garage sale.

Start a lemonade stand might be cliche but it is cheap to start up and can make the money probably in one day

babysit, recycle cans, recycle bottles, make & sell crafts (such as corn hot pads), walk dogs, go shopping for elderly people in the nursing home, make & sell stepping stones, mow the lawn, etc.
