All the men I've met or known have either been too scared to get into a realtionship or want their cake & eat it too. Is it so hard to find someone that is "old school?" My grandparents were married for 60 yrs. My parents have been married for 35 years, where are all the men like that?

Right here sweetie, we do exist. I have wondered the same about women, all the ones I have met just want to play and move on. I'm waiting out to find a good woman who is ready to be with only me. I don't mean marriage right away, but I would not mind finding the woman I will marry tomorrow

good question! There are men out there who want the same things as you do, and eventually you will find him. I think in today's society, men believe it is acceptable to have more than one partner at a time. And they also feel women should be understanding to that notion.

You have some good values. Hold on to them. The right person will come along, and you will be glad you did.

We are out here but many of us are under social attack and are hard to find in hiding. Today it is often deemed less than manly (or gay) to not hook up with as many girls as possible.

A lot of girls have fun with a lot of studs and then all of a sudden want to strap a nice guy to a plow. Smart nice guys don't reward this behavior. Smart nice guys want the relationship to bring joy into the life not meet some timetable or checklist.

Have you ever thougth that maybe it's not that they are scared to get into a relationship, but they're afraid of making the wrong choice? Although most males are tough on the outside, they are still scared of getting hurt emotionally (if not physically). Eventually someone will be as confident in his/her choice of life partner as you are and a real relationship will begin, just don't try to force it.

I am that guy but I am in a longterm committed monogamous relationship right now. I would never even think of cheating on my girlfriend I love her more than anything.

we have all gone into hiding or are taken, i mean they, They are all in hiding or taken, yup, thats what i meant to say.

i used to want that a long time ago, now it doesn't really matter because i haven't found anyone that wants it and have grown disillusioned about it to the point where i don't even meet people anymore, its not really worth it, you meet a girl and you think it will last and it all falls apart for some reason or another.

so i sit by and watch and make sure that my daughter is happy and thats enough for me
