I don't know about the FBI background checks that are offered to the private sector. The ones done for agents would include juvenile records, sealed or not. The NJ state police has the ability to turn up juvenile records during their checks too so it must not be that difficult to do. If it were me, I would disclose the history since it will only do more damage if it's not disclosed and they find out on their own. If you were just wild, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Most people understand that kids make mistakes and you will prove your maturity by being honest. Good luck.

The absolutely free background check sites generally provide the most basic of information, such as name, age and address. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge. It's impossible to get a free background check.
Stay away from shady background check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable background check site like http://backgrounddetectives.info/Inteligator-129.html that has been around since 1999. If I remember right it's $19 for a full report.

I can tell you that my husband is in the Military and he had to have a pretty high security clearance for the duty station were at now. Anyway, they interviewed and done background checks on all of us too. Friends, family, you name it! I had a juvenile record, it was nothing big, but I had one, and it didn't show up. My husband is studying law now, and I recall a few months him studying information about juveniles, and I believe he said that the records are sealed at 18. I wouldn't worry too much! If they kept jobs from everyone that had a juvenile record, we would have a lot of unemployed people!

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3Mz
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Absolutley not. Any crime you committed as a juvenile (unless tried and convicted as an adult) basically do not exist in the eyes of the law. However if you feel unconfortable with withholding this information then just tell the truth. Fact is you will be more likely to obtain a job by showing your integrity than by hoping the truth dont come out somehow. Everybody makes mistakes in thier life and if you dont continue the same mistakes it shows your ability to learn and to grow. Good luck to you how ever you decide to proceed and may God bless you.

It shouldn't even cross their radar. I have a sealed record too (wrong place right time or wrong time, accessory to the crime committed by stupid friends). When I was applying with a collection agency & then a wireless phone company, I had this worry too. It never came up & I know for certain the wireless company went through the FBI as I received an extensive copy of what they found. It wasn't even on the FBI report, thank goodness. Good luck on getting that job!!
