Just wondering because I've been on it for about 4 yrs and my fiance and I want to start a family soon...

everyone is different - unfortunatly, there is not one set time that it take to get pregnant after stopping the pill. I was on it for 7 years and I got pregnant right away after stopping. My sister in law was on it for only a year, but it took her a year to get pregnant after stopping. Everyone is different. Once you stop the pill, pay attetion to when you ovulate and it will help boost your chances to get pregnant. You will want to have sex when you are most fertile so you can have a higher chance of getting pregnant when you want to. Of course, this only helps your chances, not a fool proof plan - it could still take some time. Try this site to help know when you ovulate

i have to children both birth control babies.
the first (7 yrs ago) i was on the shot decided we wanted to try for a baby after amonth decided it wasn't time and went back on the shot. (had shot in february, and april) found out i was pregnant in july. no trying there.
7 yrs later i was on the pill took it regularly 10pm give or take 30 mins. and used condoms during that "ovulation" now we have a 4 month old daughter.
if you are meant to have children they will come
good luck and quit trying the more relaxed you are and not thinking about making baby baby will come.
making love should not be stressful just reals and enjoy it it will happen when it is suppoted to.

2 months!! I was on the pill for 5 years. I stopped in April and got pregnant in June!

It took me a little less than a year to get pregnany after going off the pill. I was upset because I wanted it to happen right away. I did use ovulation detectors and they seemed to help.

2 years and 3 months. The more stressed you get about it, the longer it will take.
