As with many birds, the males have more vibrant coloring and the females have duller, faded colors...
Sorry ladies... nothing personal...I didn't pick it that way.

You have to wait until the birds are 6 months old and the males will grow the long extravagant tail feathers where as females dont

If you want to know now your best bet is to talk to an expert in this type of bird or to have them D.N.A or surgically sexed.

Buy them a drink. No, perhaps it is like chickens, check their wings, male chickens, I believe had stiff feathers on their wings, perhaps it is similar with peacocks.

take 'em to the vet, it's the only way to determine gender when they are young. most vets won't do it, though.
