I think it is both a blessing and a challenge in patience & selflessness.
I know that I was "given" my babies for a reason and I try every day to do right by that gift. : )

I believe having a baby is a gift from God. Its not for God.
make sure also always capitalize the G in the word God.........The way I understand life is having a baby is your responsibility to our G O D.

I believe a baby is a gift from God , my son's name is Matthew which means "Gift from God". I thank God evey day for the gift of my 3 chilren.

Don't you mean a "gift from God?" And Yes I do think children are a gift from God because they challenge us in ways that no one else can. Plus we parents would risk our lives for our children quicker than we would for anyone else. God works in mysterious ways and so do our children.
