plan for when I turn 18? When I finally get that age I'll be in my senior year of high school.
I have an option of living at home another year or getting my own place. What do you think?
And what would be a good cheap college to go to that would be affordable? What are some scholarships that I could get before it grows to late?

First and foremost, do research of the colleges in your area and the scholarhips offered. If you do not know a particular website, simply type in the subject in the search box. Also, research grants on the internet. Compare schools. And my best advise, from my experience: If you are planning to attend in-state college, stay at home until you graduate. I know it sucks, but, it is worth it in the end. It keeps you focused on your goals and it's cheaper.

You will have to live in the state for 1 year to be able to pay the cheaper cost of college. You are considered out of state til then. So stay home and save, save, save $ while attending a local college. Its always cheaper at home. Go to your local library. In the reference department there is a book on all the scholarships you can get. You cant take the book home but sit down and browse. Also ask your school counselor. They have tons of info.

you should get a scholarship. and if i were you id live at home and save up my money so you can get your own place. your high school will normally have a list of scholarships you can try to get. lots of community colleges are cheap. and if your school has a thing called running start i would do that too. its free to take as many classes as you want at a community college when your still in highschool. so you can get ahead and get credits for free. and then you can tranfer to a different college and your more likely to get a scholarship if you do running start.

If possible scholarships are great, depends on how much money you have to work with,if limited by all means stay at home, otherwise go for the adventure of living on your on with the safety net of still being able to go home if you have to cut your adventure short.Good luck,God bless:O)

Live at home or get a room mate for school. Your choice, with a room mate, you party more, but study less.

Cheap College, no such thing, Jr. Colleges are cheeper, near where you live, called in district.

Check on Pell Grants, see if you qualify.

Blinn College in south Texas is a good community college to get started at, then switch over to somewhere like Sam Houston. You get easily get your own place on campus or a small apt. somewhere close by!

If you are able to support yourself just fine, you can go ahead and move out and get an apartment or something. As for colleges....I can't help you because it kind of depends on where you live and I don't know that.
