Plantar Fasciitis is not an easy thing to get rid of. I've had it for over a year.

Here are some things I've found helpful:

1) Ice your feet down. It helps a bit.
2) Aleve works wonders
3) Talk to a podiatrist about orthotics. If you cannot afford them (they are pricey) the Dr Scholls cushioned inserts also work extremely well. I forget hte model I bought but they were for heal pain and they helped tremendously.
4) Stretch your feet. I've only had minimal help with it, but it does help.
5) Wear a night splint. You can score one from a doctor but likely your insurance won't pay for it (they are about $100). I have one a friend gave me and it helps. They aren't comfortable. You can also try http://www.thesock.com. I have one of those. I found the splint more comfortable but I do use the sock occasionally. These are a MUST to help cure PF. To sleep comfortably, I usually sleep on my stomach with my affected foot hanging off the end of the bed. Works for me.
6) Avoid activities which aggravate it. If you are a runner, cut down on your mileage. etc.
7) Buy good shoes. Talk to a shoe specialty store and tell them you have PF. They should be able to find a model that works for you.

Good luck fellow sufferer.

Plantars Philis or do you mean Plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is similar to heel spurs and is an extreme pain in your heel, especially when you get out of bed in the morning.
The best recommendation is to use a foot splint (foot at right angle to leg) to keep your foot stretched out at night. This will stop the pain in the morning.
In the meantime, take it easy when playing tennis or basketball since these activities aggravate the condition.

find a chiropractor who does myofacial release technique...it's kinda like a deep tissue massage. It will hurt like heck but, if you go about 3 times a week you should feel better after about 2-3 weeks

Soaking in epsom salts. Keep shaving the top layer/layers of with a razor blade used sideways to the wart. Be careful not to cut yourself. If you can not do it, find someone else to do it.
A health care professional would be nice.
this is what I do.
Hope
