I've done the christian thing and read the bible for most of my child and teenage years..... it's um.. been there done that.. got the T- shirt... and don't wanna go back...

This is ancient paganism. It doesn't really work, although there really is a spirit world, only the fallen angels break the silence between the physical and the spirit world.
Your interest is understandable in such a society as ours. Hippocritical, materialistic, loveless, crass, and soulless. Forget all that.
Concentrate your energies, on the outside chance it could be true, on the Bible. Use a KJV. Don't tell anyone you're doing that. Take your time.
Don't trust main line, so - called " Christianity."
A lot of people are in for an extremely rude awakening, quite soon.

I used to use the name MORRIGAN when summoning the goddess. Now that I know that all the gods are ONE god and all the goddesses are ONE goddess... I no longer use a specific name. I am still fond of the imagery of Morrigan.
