How can it be when Buddhism doesn't believe in a Deity. They believe in a nothingness known as nirvana. Monotheism relates and has to have a Deity.

Not all sects of Buddhism teach about any form of deity:

In its original forms, Buddhism did not teach of the existence of transcendent, immanent, or any other type of God, Gods, Goddess, and/or Goddesses. However, many Buddhists -- particularly in Japan -- do believe in a pantheon of deities.

Ok, the reality is...there is no such thing as Monotheism...Mono means One...and even the Christians have a Trinity...God the father, God the Son and God the holy Spirit...

Buddhism is a way of life, not a religion

no it is not monotheistic. the main objective of Buddahism is to find an underlying reality( monism). Does this world realy exist? Have we been here before ( dejavu)? How can we trully achieve happiness in life? We can achieve true bliss thru unattachement; that is the way attach to "our" money, the word me must become nutrilised. " My car my money my found, screw you if u have no money", man is attached to the world this means he shall always be reborn to earth ( not in the christian sense). To reach Nirvana ( ie the underlying reliaty )one must not attach to worldly possetions. If I had the time I could tell u more about Buddihism

buddhism is a form of agnosticism, belief that there may be some higher power but nothing can be known about it since we are non-divine.

buddhism has no god in thier religion.

I think Budhhism Is nothing but :
"Search for ultimate truth."

After becoming Awakened when Budhha was on his way to Kashi
He was asked a question.., by a naked man..., Who is your Guru...your Teacher???

And It is Believed that "Budhaa" answered that Question by saying:

Who can be my Teacher???
I'll make Truth my Teacher or Guru!!!!!!!!!

Budhhism is like Meta Questions in NLP.

It take you to Reality.
It is believed that we are always in .., kind of ... trance....., Now when you ask a Question you come out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Budhha is believed to have said this::

KNOWING

dONT BELIEVE WHAT HAS BEEN HANDED OVER BY ANCESTORS FROM CENTURIES

dONT BELIEVE IN WHAT AUTHORITIES AND TEACHER SAY

dONT BELIEVE IN WHAT GREAT MEN TAUGHT

Analise EVERYTHING AND IF ITS GOOD FOR ONE AND ALL THEN ACCEPT IT AND implement IT.
