I have been fighting the head lice 2 years now, someone suggested tea tree oil..i have tried all the medicated chems, but they always seem to find her head..help...

You can get it at walmart in the pharmacy section.I found this awesome thing that helps you find all the nits which is what you need to do. Look online for neon nits. You spray this pink stuff in their hair, comb it out and the nits show up bright pink. My daughter just had it and I was comletely obsessed with it. I'm sure you have heard all of the advice. You have to do the oil thing and comb comb comb and look through little sections cut the hair in a cute but SHORT hair style. No more RID or NIX shampoo cause it affects the central nervous system. Make sure your child's friends don't have it. You have to do the overnight oil treatment every four days for a month. Each time washing sheets blankets and pillows in hot water and drying for 20 mintues high heat. You can't get rid of it until all the nits aregone. The nits you want to find are very close to the scalp. The tea tree oil smells like turpentine, I would only add maybe 10 drops to a cup of olive or coconut oil. The olive oil would be good enough by itself as long as you do all the other steps along with it. Also bag up all the stuffed animals for 14 days at least. Feel free to email me bodywrap@mhtc.net

In Wal*Mart and yes it is available full strength, they also have a shampoo with Tea Tree Oil in it that is a great preventative. My condolences. I know what it is like to fight the wretched little beasts, I had three little girls in my house that were fighting it and passing them back and forth for 6 months. That was bad enough.

K-Mart has it in the alternative/natural medicines. Product is by Spring Vallley. 2 Fl Oz (60ml) Price appr. $6.00.

I got it at Whole Foods grocery store. You could probably get some at a drugstore, though.
