What makes you think he's Gay?
Many Gay people do their 'best to fit into society' by joining up with a person of the opposite sex to keep the appearance of being 'normal'. They marry and have kids sometimes as well -- all to keep up the facade and DENY who they are to themselves and his family. The thing is, if you believe this to be true, then first thing is ask him. If he denies (he will I'm sure), then be on your way if you are that convinced. Because no matter how attractive you are, sweet, loving etc.. he will NOT change who he is attracted to - it's in his DNA/Biology who he is attracted to. So do yourself a favor and just walk away from that.
I hope it all works out for you, but there are no 'sure tests' to be 100%. If your GUT is telling you he is, then trust your gut, because most of the time, your gut is never wrong. If your friends have 'gently commented/asked about it' then it is 'for sure' time to break it off. Do your best not to hurt his feelings and your own feelings. Be good to yourself and there is NOT something wrong with you that you 'fell' for osmeone Gay.

How do you know for sure?
It obviously will not work out for the long term. If he's really gay, that means he's really not that into you.You might be the experimental stand in to convince himself. And if you really care for this person, you can be there for him as far as him making the transition and come of the closet. (per say).

well let me say i've never had a gay boyfriend. but my suggestions would be go get an AIDS/HIV test done asap, dont waste any time. good luck
