What do you think happens after you die?

I get scared sometimes thinking of what'll happen after I die.I just imagine darkness and... darkness. I don't believe that there is a heaven, and if there is, and if it's so great, I don't understand why everyone just doesn't kill themselves now and get to heaven earlier. I believe that our dust will go into the earth and start a new cycle, and in a way it's a very uplifting thought, that we get to come back from where we started, give back what we had. It's almost like we were lending life from the earth and after we die our lend is up. But I think it's also a possibility that we could reincarnate and become something else, but i don't really see point in that if you're going to forget you were someone else... Any thoughts?

Life is only a game, the challenge of earth life is to discover whom we really are starting from having no memories of true self. The body is a vehicle which we use to play the game of course. Not all human bodies have a gamers spirit animating it, they are called minions. Minions are animated by the planetary spirit becasue of the over population of humans, not enough true games to animate all bodies. Depending on the level of awareness and abilities to see the game for what it is the gamer continues gathering info and experiencing this fake reality til it is ready to graduate to higher levels of experiences. Earth is designated for a higher level because of the memories being blocked, aliens are part of the game as well, kinda like game keepers, they are technologically more advance but spiritually less advanced that we are, chances are you where like them before you incarnated here on earth. Apparently it takes balls to take on this challenge. We incarnate simultaneously hundreds to thousands of times as many different races, genders, backgrounds etc. all present a different form of experiences as well as challenges. Aliens whom genetically altered the bodies we animate are playing on the lower level, as where they live thousands of years and each death they carry the previous life memories, but are addicted to the power and technology and have a fear of losing all that was gained, but eventually will take on the challenge when mature enough. All Gods that humans pray to are false alien gods, who thrive on control. This a game of light against dark, just like star wars, but an advance gamer chooses neither side and becomes balanced at some point and moves beyond the game for better experiences. Earth life is a training ground. Enjoy it while you can, cause it won't be around very much longer.

When we died, let's hope our love ones are there when it's time to pass on. Let's hope we get to say goodbye to them, before we close go our eyes to sleep. There will be sorrow and crying. Greif beyond compare for a while. Maybe a memorial service will be held.
Some time people will have a candlelight vigiral for that person. People wish they were in heaven now, take away from this old old world. The war, hunger, disease, and etc.
We kill ourselfs, our souls will go to hell. There we will be with the band of demons and in the lake of fire. That is not what I want to go. I want to Die in my sleep, and open my eyes, looking up into Jesus face.
Knowing Iam felt by the holy light, and with love ones who pass on long ago.

how old are you?
well i dont believe your thoughts. but im not arguing against your thoughts. you are free to think whatever.
but let me just tell you this. when i was young, between 10 and 15 years old, i was really scared of death. i was always thinking how will i die and when and how will it be after and where am i going to go????
but then i accepted the Lord Jesus into my life. I was always raised a Christian but I was reborn again. reborn is when you give your life to Jesus and follow him for the rest of your life. you could be a Christian or not befor being reborn and eccepting Jesus into your heart.
so after i was reborn i understood a lot of things more. i understand now that there is no point in thinking of death and how you will die and when. all of this will be up to God. he already knows when that day will be and how it will happen. of course He wont tell us.
i understand now that after we die we go to Heaven or Hell. if we have sinned in our life and we never asked for forgiveness then we go to Hell. i do know that when the end of the world comes and one is a sinner and was never reborn again, they can ask for forgiveness in the very last minute and still go to Heaven. but all that is up to God. he makes the rules and he is in control.
i am more at peace right now. i enjoy life as it comes. good or bad. and i dont let thoughts like those enterupt my life.
i dont believe in reincarnation. i believe that after you die your body stays on earth and our spirit goes to hell or heaven. i dont see a point in coming back to this earth after you die as someone else. what was the point of dieing? its not to come back to life as another person! these are my thoughts.
i hope you accept Jesus Christ into your heart and I hope these thoughts will no longer be in your mind. they can becom very stressful. god bless

Well, logic would tell you that a persons identity, personality, and conscious thought are products of your brain and neural functioning. When those things cease to function, a person's identity, personality, and thoughts cease to exist as well. There is no evidence that the mind can function without the brain.

So a logical person would say that your person ends with the death of the brain.

But I choose to believe that we get to ride into a giant Marshmellow cloud city, filled with puppy dogs and Chocolate and everyday is Christmas!

I think we go to another plane of existance, what religious people call heaven, then, if we choose, we ar reincarnated. If we remembered what we were in a past life, we would remember all the loves and slights we felt in the new life ans they would effect our ability to be a good person.

Works for me, dearheart. I think the spark of the Divine in us goes Home to God and I do think we reincarnate. We may have things left undone or lessons unlearned. It all depends on the individual. As for Heaven, heaven is what you make of it. For me, it's the place I grew up -- green and good -- without all the idiots who live there.

Well if you do not believe in a heaven doea that also mean that you dont believe in hell and if this is the case then technically since you dont believe then yes it would not be anything you wont know anything because your body will go to the ground and rot

I think the best thing to do is not worry about it. Maybe you go to heaven (possibly hell...), maybe your reincarnated, or maybe you just die. Just live life the best that you can and enjoy it. Death is a part of life.

According to the bible there are 3 kinds of Hell, 1 is Sheol, 1 is Hades and 1 is Gehenna. Sheol, gehenna and Hades are all used literally in the bible. Look them up. Sheol is the "common grave" of mankind where the dead sleep.

Your present spiritual human body will stop but not your life... no beginning, no end, no middle to your life. Heaven and hell is where you believe / feel you are at at any given moment; probably some of both mostly.
