Guys seem to be like rockets when it comes to relationships, why??

I agree with folks when they say it could be the sex, but what if it is Long Distence Relationship??
People mostly guys love to move on fast, but I have been with one particular girl who went from 'I love you' to 'Okay I have to tell my parents about you' in 36 hours. What would you call her??
Now, she was not a babe or anything and I am not a hunk and stuff, but if the other person is attracted to you and both of you 'click', then the whole world can just stand still and you can care a damn. Its just you, your Soulmate and all the essentail services that you care for.

It sounds like some real man haters from a few of these responses. Honesty really is the best policy. If he isn't willing to slow down the physical side of the relationship, it will undoubtedly put a huge strain on the emotional side of things for both of you. Not all guys are just in a relationship for sex.

Honey, all they care about is how fast they can get in your pants! That's why they want to hurry up and make you feel like you are special and then take advantage of you. Then after they get what they want, the relationship will slow down, and the "fear of commitment" will set in on them. At this point, they will then tell YOU to "slow down." Don't fall prey to this kind of guy!

Those that rush usually are not keepers they are usually users.
Communication is the best and should be used by anyone who
has doubts or questions.You need to talk it over with him,tell him
exactly how you feel and why.If he understands and wants to
keep you in his life then he will be OK with it.If he doesn't then he wasn't planning on sticking around anyway.

don't always be right there when he calls, go out with your friends and make yourself unavailable. the sess he sees you the better. although this may make him become obsessive cause he might think your out with another guy. if he is like that you need to find someone else. maybe be honest with him and tell him you need to slow down. this may be a little easier.

oh honey thats girls not guys i dunno what country your from but here its always girls who move to fast and want a commitment asap..i dont know very many guys who are relationship rockets most guys run the other way when u say the word commited relationship. maybe its the water in ur city lol

Is he just wanting s e x? thats the only reason a guy would want to escalate the relationship, he doesn't need any friends.

Glad to know that there are some girls out there who actually see its you women who hold the reins in a relationshiup. DOnt give out so easily and the guy will have to learn to wait for it.

The boys are different from the girls, if they like a person they want to be with her as quickly as possible, without too many filosofies. They want to seduce the girl as quickly as possible, they dont't have too much patience. They want her right away, without any other complications!
We girls need more romance, nice words, we need to be seduced, but this takes time...

he doesn't want to be alone and will hurry a relationship because he is missing something in his life. He needs you to fil a void in your life. Tell him you are not ready to move on, if he REALLY cares about you then he will be patient and wait
