I get paranoid when I go to sleep... What if that thing tips over and crushes me?!? =O

Because they feel they have to compete with other men, there is a lot of emphasis on the idea of 'bigger equals better' – most women don't mind given as the majority of women don't get off on penetration alone, women's vaginas are not that big, it is what they do with it that counts and love factors in a lot – the idea of bigger the penis better the man tends to be just something between men, not about impressing women…
Plus you know there are some other social factors, but it is late and I am lazy so forgive my avoiding a long drawn out sociological explanation into the subject – because yes, I could go into it further.

not unless we start out really small and it starts to grow at an enourmous rate or start out elepahnt size and shrinking occurs no we do not get paranoid. What I think your asking is that do we sometimes have insecurities that the size will be adequate and acceptable to our crush, gf or the like? And the answer is yes, we are human and when in like or love that is one of the things that can cause the feeling of not being good enough for a particular female. Men, being people too have as many bouts witht their esteem as women do. Women do not have controlling shares in that market. Difference is Women have a tendency to show them and most men do not. As we grow older we tend not to worry about proven things like the size or ability after we realize much like women that those things were not really factors at all and seem to concentrate on the more important aspects of a relationship. But, there is always that one gurl, woman, female that sets off the pheremones that make us doubt everything about ourselves even that. Love is a funny, brutal, wonderful, enlightening, combative emotion and when in it deep our heads spin the sun shines, the flowers bloom even if there is two feet of snow outside. I apologize for the length but I hope I have shed some light for you. Love is so refreshing lifting to talk about. Mmmmuuuuaaahhhh, thanks for understanding.

I think they might feel inadequate. Alot of times women make them feel that way because of how they talk about a guys penis. I like the women who can honestly say size doesn't matter. And one of the truth is they want to peform well with you and know that you like it the way it is. They are comfortable with women like that. They like those "other "women and would love to make love to them but the woman's actions speak for themselves. Some women can spread words around about a man's size and for the little guys it's uncomfortable to hear that said. But remember , I believe it's the feeling of inadequacy. guys won't admit it but they have feelings too. I hope this helps.

I guess the same reason women get paranoid about the size of their a.sses.
Men know that a lot of women will judge them on size, just like men judge women on size (meaning weight).

Size has always being a issue,because most men want to show some type of bulge in their pant. because the saying is: Bigger is better,but if you dont know what to do with it. It doesnt matter if it is five or ten.....

Because they have pathetic friends who lie about their size when they are really insecure about their size and women also are partly to blame because they always want a large penis

Because....men are very competitive!!!!
And most of them never grow up "Mine is bigger than yours!!!"
Because....they haven't resplved their Oedipal complex and are still in competition for their mummies. As a little boy they realise they will not be big enough to satisfy mummy....and they are afraid of this (unconsciously, irrationally) forever.
There is no need guys.
Sensitivity and consideration and taking time are far more important.

Because boys/men want to feel they've satisfied a girl/woman. It's not very complicated. It just means the world to a man.
They need to be told that they are enough just as they are.
