I'm quite sure that if you asked the question more appropriately. you'd get better/more answers. Women (and some men) find it a negative to hear that 'somoene got banged'. You had sex with a girl and got her pregnant.. sex is even fewer letters than 'banged'. I don't think I would be proud of this.

A) What does SHE want to do?

B) What is your belief system in regards to abortion/adoption and are you ready to be a father?

C) Figure out 'what happened'. Were you wearing a condom? Did the condom fail? Was she on the pill and she got pregnant anyway? The purpose of this line of questioning FOR YOU, is to make sure you never end up in this position again, unless you WANT to be.

My Nephew got someone pregnant earlier than he wanted to. I asked him, so what's up with you wearing condoms? He hates them and they are too expensive! I looked at the baby sleeping on his chest and said, are those condoms more expensive than HIM? He laughed and said no way! I said ok, so what's more important, he said, that I don't bring another child into this world, that I am not ready for! BINGO he got it.. will you? I KNOW it's easy to 'put it on the girl' and say well 'she didn't take the pill right' or whatever.. but the fact remains.. you have a child on the way, and now you have to work our problems that you are not old enough to cope with, and not really ready to deal with.

So I say to you: If you are 'old enough' to be haivng sex, then you need to be 'old enough' to realize that you need to protect YOURSELF from pregnancy and disease and that INCLUDES wearing condoms, getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases for the times you haven't been safe etc..

It's all up to you and your sexual partner. What each of your value systems are and what each of you is WILLING to do. Like if she has it, are you gonna be a 'present father'? Or a support paying father?

I think ALL teenagers and adults - the VERY first time - they start to 'think about having sex' with someone new.. need to DISCUSS (outside the moment/before the moment).. WHAT IF the woman gets pregnant, what his beliefs are and what the woman's are.. so that both of you are prepared for accidents (condoms do break and pill's fail and there is a small percentage of failure on ALL birth control methods).

I wish you all the best.. but speaking from experience.. watching a niece, nephew and my best friends daughter all keep those babies, it is such hard work, you have NO idea! And if that child is sick in any way (my best friends grandson has a pretty rare illness), the stress is magnified tremedously! Be prepared, think it through about what YOUR value system is, and then discuss with hers what hers is, and then come up with a decision.

I wish you both the best! Take care!

Start by being a little more mature about the situation. Be a man and take responsibility would be my first suggestion. If your still young, seek counseling. Having a baby is a huge responsibility for you and the expected mother. She will have a number of doctors appointments, and a lot of emotional curves over the next few months. Do your best to support her, and to keep her healthy. Go to your local planned parenthood clinic and ask to speak to a conselor immediately. They will be able to help you locate the resources you need to ensure a healthy pregnancy and eventually a healthy baby.

FIrst off, we can obviously see your immaturity by using the word "bang". You should hope and pray that for some reason she does not have this baby because the child does not need to grow up with this type of environment. You obviously can have sex but can't live up to the responsibility of your actions. You should do the baby a favor and never be part of its life.

Now that you're gonna be a daddy, grow up and stop saying things like, "I banged a girl." Actually, you had unprotected sexual intercourse with her, right? And nature took it's course. Part of growing up is talking to the girl and finding out how and to what extent your life is going to change. The decision to have this child or get an abortion is strictly hers, but you need to offer input if she wants it. If she gets an abortion, you need to split the cost with her. If she decides to keep it, you also need to split the cost with her -- of prenatal care, labor and delivery, formula, diapers, clothing, food, and everything else she has to buy for your child for the next 18 years. This is your obligation regardless of whether you decide to be a part of your child's life.

Kinda makes you wish you'd used a condom, doesn't it?

Be a man and get ready to take care of your responsibility. You're already taking the first step by accepting the fact that it's yours.

take care of the child like a real man you are a part of it just as much as she is and the child is what is most important so make sure you remember that.

Stand by her and handle your responsibilities. You are going to be a father. Next time try using condoms.

you need to support her and help her with the baby cause sooner than later your going to want to meet the baby and if you don't help now you probably won't ever see her or the baby and you going to regret it later
