I created a ghost server with Windows 2000 Server and DHCP installed. I have some new systems that I want to put an image on, but they dont have a floppy drive so I cant boot from the floppy. How can I use the peer to peer feature and image them remotely.

I have other images for other systems, and want the Ghost server to be available so I can both create new images and put images on new HD when necessary on the fly. So I really need the Ghost server to work.

I have tried this and all was OK. Using the reference to the source knowledge you create a BOOTable CD with the install IMAGE on the disk so that when the target PC boots, it will begin installing the new image on the Hard drive of itself.

If they have a CD drive that you're able to boot from, then make a bootable CD with the disk image file on it.

Or, if they have a USB port, then put a bootable image on a USB drive or key to connect to the network.

couldn't you load it on a flash drive since they are the new floppy drives. I don't know I haven't tried myself. I know that you can reboot from a CD if a drive scrubber is used.

only swap in anotherpersistent and restoration the photo. GHO photo might want to self-adjust length-sensible to the newpersistent. or you may want to ghost your contemporary C: and then restoration the photo on D:, and restoration decrease back to C: once you need to.
