My parents used to listen to Garner Ted Armstrong when I was very young. He had a radio program where he cited bible passages proving the world was going to end in the very near future. (no more than 20 years)

Wow, that's a blast from the past! I remember watching it when I attended the Worldwide Church of God. He died years ago and his son took over...dunno who runs the church now. They have a website that I've been to a couple times just to see what they're up to lately. They seem to have abandoned keeping the Jewish holy days. Too bad, the Feast of Tabernacles was fun!
