Are you seeing negative results when she does this? It shouldn't be a problem as long as her diet doesn't consist solely of it.

The biggest problem with dogs eating fruits is usually the skins - the dog's system just isn't able to process them, which can lead to runny stools and indigestion.

Not everything a dog likes is good for it, naturally. Cat poop is like candy to dogs, but is bad for their prostates. They love to eat raw meat, but it can give them worms and horrible gas.

I'd ask the vet, if I were you, just to be sure and get some good advice on this.

Dogs can eat fruits and vegetables, but in moderation or they might get a stomach upset. However, do not feed raw garlic, raw or cooked onions, macadamia nuts, chocolate, grapes or raisins. The other things are fine such as apples, watermelon, apricots, tomatoes, potatoes, asparagus, avocado, plums, carrots, sweet potatoes.

It isn't bad for her, but limit the amount as mentioned above to avoid giving her diarrea. Perhaps she isn't getting the right nutrition and that is why she is going after fruits. Look into getting her some healthier food rich in nutrients. See if that lowers her desire for fruit at all.

Their bodies are like humans in that they will crave something if their bodies need it. It is why some dogs eat other dogs poop. They are missing key nutrients and they can get those nutrients in the poop. Gross, but necessary I guess...

Good luck!

fruits and veggies are completely healthy for dogs, it is much better to give them these in addition to dog food than not. Just use moderation (as with all things) and make sure you are around when they have anything they could choke on ( that includes small rawhides and chew sticks). Raw Broccoli ends ( the pieces you cut off) are favorites of many dogs!

Dogs will eat both fresh and dried fruits. Stick with apples, berries, bananas, and seedless watermelon. Don't let your dog eat too much! Too much fruit may upset your dog's digestive system

Grapes and raisins can be toxic to canines if eaten in large amounts

Apples are fine as a treat.
No grapes and no onions
But most fruit and veggies are fine.
Mine love carrots and broccoli stems and most fruit.
I do not give them alot just as treats.
They are far better than what is in most dog treats.

Nope, fruit is perfectly okay for dogs. Just no grapes.

And though it's not fruit, no onions. That is just like chocolate, can knock them off right quick.

Apples are GREAT for dogs, plenty of fiber, and it keeps them from chewing so much. Also helps them potty better.

Honestly I could only see it helping the dog. Fruit is a good source of vitamins and is really nutritious. Sounds like a plus to me.

no as long as you just give a littel each day- like anything a dog or human eats, to much can make someone sick.
Dogs can taste sweet "things" that is why he/she likes apples. Try giving carrots, most dogs love them too.
BUT remember only as a snack

a small amount of apples is ok for her. Consider feeding her beneful healthy harvest. it s dog food that actually contains apples. I've never seen it at walmart but they sell it at petsmart. Carrots are another healthy snack for dogs, of course in small amounts. If your dog is a medium or large breed its easier for them to digest such things also.
