I just painted the entire interior of my house. I'm very into color and stay away from too much neutral. I'm only giving you my color themes because once I decided I didn't look into anything else.
Kitchen - dark shade of red, trim is a light yellowish tan, entire theme is wine
Living room - sage green accented with hunter green microsuede furniture and hunter green sheer window treatments, theme is wildlife, I even bought rustic metal maple leaf switchplate covers
I even did a sort of theme in my hallway because it connects so many rooms.- it's an almond color that goes well with the green coming from the living room, accented with rosewood candle holders and a bamboo shade in the window
bathroom - solid white walls accented with burnt orange and cream accesories
my boys' room - bright blue, not dark, with stripes and trim in a kind of lime green, frogs stamped in both blue and green variously
playroom - orange, if I were to name the color I'd say orange dreamsicle. It's light, not in your face bright and glaring
master bedroom - plum purple with lavendar window treatments and accents.

Living Room - Some shade of brown or tan, wooden floors, and blue or red accents (Warm and cozy)

Dining Room - White with lots of crystal (simple and elegant)

Kitchen - Citris type colors (fresh and inspiring)

Bathroom - Grey with white accents, especially if you have pedestool furniture (modern, but classic)

Office - Dark red or Dark Green - Think of a classic university library

Bedroom - Blue or light yellow (either calm and serene or bright and cheery depending on your personality)

It really depends on what you like. Here's my opinions though:

Family Room-This room should be warm and inviting! Stay away from cool colors. You want people to come in and feel like they can kick up their feet and relax.

Bedroom-No one can tell you what to do with this one, you are the one who will spend the most time here!

Kitchen-Have fun with this one. Make it fun and fresh! Go with wild colors, but not in your face.

Remember: You are the one that has to spend the most time in the house, so you really should go with your opinions and not other peoples. I can see how you want some input though! =)

oftentimes indoors Decorators propose rooms to be painted in mind-blowing, loud colours because it lends on the spot charm to partitions and gets them stable appreciation from consumers. even however, one ingredient to keep in mind is that indoors Paints tend to vanish with consistent exposure to image voltaic and dark colours turn uninteresting contained in here years. For accessory partitions, Mango, Lime green and Fuchsia are a secure selection as they look good even after fading (if in any respect you want an accessory wall, it rather is! ) easy colours together with white, cream, pastels and impartial colours are very stable for standard partitions - They upload a feeling of spaciousness to the room. Paint your ceiling interior the comparable impartial/easy colour which you have have been given used to your partitions - which will make your ceiling look larger than it rather is. regardless of the contractor shows -- choose for cleanable Acrylic (Plastic) Paint -- it rather is by potential of a few distance the low-fee, greater effective looking and good than all different varieties of paint ...and additionally much less complicated to maintain! wish you each and all the final! ultimate Regards, Aamrapali

The trend seems to be turning toward cool clean colors, such as clear blue-aqua and yellow. Both are calming but happy colors. Add green for a very calming affect but don't make it army green please!
