check all your lines and connections outside and inside there maybe a problem... if not call tech. i had similar problem when i installed my DSL and it was my outside line i needed to rerun all my phone lines...

Is there a filter between each telephone and phone jack in your entire residence? There should be. If there is and you're still having trouble hearing, contact your service provider.

Well, to be frank, its because DSL sucks. Seriously though, try checking to see if the filters are backwards. That's what happened to us when we got it.
