This is kind of a follow up to a question I've already asked.
He cannot love a woman or feel sexually attracted to one.

I see you've ruled out the possibility that a gay man is actually capable of loving anyone... especially another gay man...

If you believe this, then there's no hope for you.

What greater power in all the universe than love? And you conveniently assume that homosexuals are incapable of such things. If that's the case, perhaps I should leave my partner of 12 years. That's 84 years in "straight" years, btw. (That's a joke, --although many homosexual relationships DO outlast heterosexual ones).

P.S. Those replying with "abstain" are simply saying that to prevent themselves from thinking about same-sex sex. Clearly they can't stop themselves from thinking about two guys gettin' it on, or kissing, or actually (shall I say it?) being in LOVE with one another.

Perhaps they ought to worry about the stability of their own relationships, examining their own "love", and worry about what goes on behind their own locked doors. I mean, what makes you think that every gay man wants to hear about heterosexual sex?? We do recognize that heterosexuals do play an important role in re-stocking the homosexual population, but come on! What is wrong with love?

You did say man and not boy so you're talking about consenting adults. I believe everyone has the right to find their life partner and enjoy that relationship. Since we're not all fortunate enough to meet that special someone on the first try, it's inevitable that many of us will have several partners in our lives. Still, I'm not advocating a life of sexual abandon. Besides the health concerns (HIV and other STDs), sex is a big step in a relationship and shouldn't be undertaken lightly.

I don't think it's anyones business who a person loves or has sex with. It appears that many Catholic priests these days seem to think if they can't love or have sex with women it's ok to turn to children to satisfy their needs. I believe that is by far worse than loving or having sex with a consenting adult of the same gender. After all GOD loves us all, no matter what.

First of all he is not gay. He may think so, but its a lie. He needs to straighten that out. If he will not accept God's authority over his life he can forget it. Being gay is only a surface issue. He has much deeper problems. Salvation must come first, then the issues can be worked out-but not before.

Just because a gay man doesn't find women attractive doesn't mean he can't get arroused. He just gets arrouse by being with another man. What is wrong with that, as long as they love each other. No harm in that!

I think it would be nice if everyone tried to abstain 'some'.... But no, a gay guy should find another clean gay guy, and should have as few (hopefully only one) partners as possible.

If you're speaking of a man who is a Christian, the answer is yes. If that person has no desire for women, if he wants to follow the bible, he would not enter into any kind of sexual relationship with a man.
