Anything that says "milli" indicates 1000. So 1000 milliliters make 1 liter.
There is 3.78 liters in a gallon.
What other stuff do you need to know? Google for a program called "convert.exe" - it converts anything.

Deca is ten to a liter
Centi is 100 to a liter
Milli is 1000 to a liter
Change liter to meter and the same rules apply to linear measurement as to liquid.
