Good vitamins-yes.
Even if you ate a healthy diet
You would have to eat 15 peaches today to get the vitamins you got before by eating just one peach. Because of what we have done to our food. No-where in the world is corn not contaminated by something due to the seeds we get by already diseased plants. It won't kill you but it is not good for you.
Sad but true. There are many causes to this which is a whole story in itself.
Take them and take a good one--too many out there are worthless.

Remember vitamins are also called or considered "suppliments". If you are eating healthy they may just be a waist of money. Veggies, fruits & grains are loaded with whatever you need. Beside's the food always taste's better than swallowing a dry capsule. Honestly I feel that they are beneficial for someone who has a busy lifestyle and doesn't have the time to prepare meals.

The best way to get them is mostly from food.

According to the Journal of American Medicine billions of dollars in health care costs could be saved if every american took a good multivitamin each day. The problem is that there are some very bad vitamins on the market. Centrum, for instance, contains some rather nasty chemicals like nickous sulfate, chromic chloride, stannous chloride, sodium selenite. Go to www.centrumistoxic.com
to find out the details.

Yes it is unless you are part of the 4% of people that actually get everything they need in their daily diet. With processed foods, fruits picked and gassed to ripen and vegetables grown in overworked fields there is little chance that you will. Even the Journal of American medicine states that everyone should be taking vitamins.
