Most of the bad things that happen in our lives are our own doing by poor choices. Not going to college, getting pregnant unexpectedly, having cancer due to smoking etc. Living your life according to God's plan gives you much joy. What you do on this earth shapes your spirit for heaven. "The devil came to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came so you may have and enjoy your life." John 10:10
"If you could kick the person in the pants most responsible for your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month."Theodore Roosevelt

We are born through the grace of God. We are given choices, to follow God's way of life or man's way. Usually man's way causes pain because we have forgotten God. We die because nothing is forever on this earth unless we follow God's way, then we are given eternal life.

Living on earth is not a bed of roses. God knows that. God put us on this earth for a purpose. We are not all alike. Contribute your best calling to mankind and He will reward you many times over in the end. Life begins in heaven, we first have to deal with life on earth

I want you to understand that life was not meant to be easy. In fact, it is a test. God put us on the earth to see how we develop in Christ. He wants to see how we stand up to trials and testing. If we succeed, we become all the more stronger! There is a positive side to every problem, and if you concentrate only on the negative, you will not make it through. I encourage you to search for the positive side of every situation! It will make you stronger!! God bless!

Many religions believe that this life time is just the test and when we die we wake up and start the real deal.

Because we are meant to...like every other organism, only that we are cursed/blessed with the intelligence of knowing that we will die and also turn life into questions and philosophy by complicating it more...

So that we can reproduce, and our species will stay on earth (although at the rate we're messing this planet up, I can't say that we won't die out at some point or another)
