No mosquitoes can not transmit HIV, but they can spread mil aria. my research is below with a little more info.

"There is no evidence to show that mosquitoes transmit HIV. Epidemiologically, the incidence of HIV infection is the highest among the sexually active group of 15 years to 40 years. However, mosquitoes bite persons of all age groups and if they were a means of spreading HIV, the incidence of infection would be uniformly high and among all age groups. HIV does not survive or replicate inside the intestine of the mosquito, which is another reason to believe that mosquitoes cannot spread the HIV infection."

"Studies have shown no evidence of HIV transmission through insects—even in areas where there are many cases of AIDS and large populations of insects such as mosquitoes. HIV lives for only a short time inside an insect and does not reproduce. Thus, even if the virus enters a mosquito or another sucking or biting insect, the insect does not become infected and cannot transmit HIV to the next human it feeds on or bites."

All of the scientific research to date has not shown any cases of mosquitoes transmitting HIV to another person.

They, being the Scientists, say that the mosquitos cant do it, but, I am a whole lot leery of that one!

If they can transmit malaria and encephalitis, or the West Nile Virus, whats the difference to transmitting aides also?

Its why I always have a Bug Zapper in my yard!!

Better safe than sorry, later, I always figure.

I wish you well..

I hear people all the time answer NO to that one. But, if that is how malaria and a host of other diseases are spread one wonders why not.

No they cant, because blood is being exposed to air and their digestive system. If it was, then more millions would be infected.
