I worked a McDonald's. and yes people are very rude. i have had people throw money at me . yell at me and it was not my fault. They are mean Some complain because at mcd. they know they will get a free food voucher. And they know they can get away with it. And people in the hospital are not like that they are usually grateful for your help.

Unfortunately this is the price we pay for working with the general public anywhere. Dealing with people like this builds your character and makes you stronger. The upside of this is that fast food customers get out faster; there are other jobs dealing with the public where you'll have to deal with jerks for an extended period of time.

My very first job was at McDonalds, I stayed at it a little under a year, and it built the bridge for helping me deal with people who, unfortunately, are not always nice. You'll be ok.

I worked for McD's in high school. Lasted about 2 weeks. Besides the point that they trained me for an hour and then put me on a register without any further assistance, I got sick of the manager giving me a day off and then calling at 6 A.M. to say she needed me to come in after all. Plus, the smell of french fry grease stays in you hair for DAYS after shampooing. That was gross, and I don't eat there for that reason. If it clings to your hair, skin and clothing, it's no wonder it causes incredible damage inside you.

My first job was working in McDonalds. I have had it all happen to me from food being thrown back to me to being spit on!! People are rude because they think they are better than everyone else, but in reality they are worse because they can not act decently!! There are the great customers also do not get discouraged it gets better!!

Well, you shouldn't get used to this behavior. You're human and people make mistakes. You should talk to your manager. You shouldn't be treated this way. People think that since they're paying for the food, they can treat you any way they like. This is untrue.

First of all we cant call them as people. to be a customer never entitles to do what is inside them. people re down as psychological, because of several reason ( generally work_stress). Don't mind this event and Lead ur usual behaviour ... you'll get what u deserve, believe it :)

Some people are just jackasses honey.... when a situation like that arises, tell them "Let me get my manager for you." Thats what they get paid for.
