Dog shampoo for regular baths and baby wipes to wipe her mouth after every meal. Probably most of the staining there is from her eating.

THE STAIN AROUND YOUR DOGS MOUTH COULD BE FROM THE DYES IN THE DOG FOOD. ITS IN THEIR SALIVA. TRY USING A WHITING SHAMPOO, FOR DOGS, AND WASH HER FACE AFTER EVERY MEAL. THIS SHOULD HELP. ASK YOUR DOG GROOMER OR YOUR VET.

your dogs fur may be the result of her food. Make sure that her dishes are not plastic. Stainless steel only! The Ions in the plastic and the bacteria that gets trapped in it is not good for your dogs health (or fur). The water depending on the source can also cause a chemical reaction with her saliva and cause discoloration of the fur. You can find tear stain remover at your local pet store that will help the fur from staining around her eyes and mouth. ie. FourPaws Crystal Eye, PPP Tear stain remover.

If it's from staining, you can go to Petsmart or any pet store to get a special cleaning agent for fur around the mouth and eyes. If it's just the color of her fur...don't do a d@mn thing.

Well most likely the face has staining because she drinks out of a water bowl. If you hang up a dog water bottle would realy help to keep the stianing down.
Here is a link to a page that will tell you what you can do. http://www.fantasiashihtzu.com/stainingone.html

I use e-z groom crystal white shampoo, it works with enzymes.
It's expensive and I got it at natural pets NW, but you wouldn't need much, and it works really well.
The only household type thing might be hydrogen peroxide dabbed on the dark areas and let set a little before rinsing. worth a try.

Other then her regular bath, leave her fur alone. Since you asked about using household products on her, i doubt you should even have an animal!

Check your local pet store, your vet and/or a groomer. Never use any household products.
