attack Iran and N. Korea at the same time and win?

like you are "winning" in Iraq?

.. NEWSFLASH both the aforementioned have better equipped armies than Iraq, possibly nukes - and seeing as how the US has squandered most of its post 9-11 int'l good will, you won't have many allies..

study your history.. too many fronts, overextended - taht's always how the Empires fall, from Genghis Khan to the Romans to Hitler to Napoleon....

Sure we can beat either or both. Our military capability is dramatically higher than both. However, in both cases they have serious fortifications (underground bunkers) that can withstand our best penetrating bombs, so there would have to be some ground activity right up in their face. North Korea is more problematic based on the artillery strike they'd lay in on the South, and that would have to be a massive campaign with coalition support. Iran we can more easily do on our own. It would need to be fast & dirty as we don't want to be tied down in an insurgency like we are in Iraq. If you can take out most of their military capability, destroy all nuke program, & cut off the head (Pres & especially the Gurardian Council), then just hard seal the Iraqi borders & put an ACR on the border with Iran. Yeah we could do it. The concern "if we don't" is about as bad as the "if we do." and other motivators in US interest (balance of power in mid-east) so I could see it happening.

We just can't attack any country, no matter if the American people wanted it or not.

We don't have the means, money, or intelligence to go anywhere with any credibility. The Bush group has no ace up their sleeve, or world wide cooperation waiting in the wings for any sort of strike. The only legacy they have is using young men and women's lives as pawns in a novice's try at a game of diplomatic chess.

Interesting question.
As usual, US using some propaganda to scaring other countries for achieve its goals and benefits.
I know, president of US is enough idiot for invading other independent countries, but this isn't good time for US, also Iran and North Korea aren't like Afghanistan and Iraq. So I don't think US can invading these countries. Otherwise the world will fall in troubles...!
In one word, if US doesn't threat independent countries, nobody won't threat US.

We have so much power that we end up playing games instead of fighting to win. If it was really serious for us we would never lose. The US military is bigger than top ten militaries below us combined.

If the US used it's nuclear arsenal, it's WMD's, and enacted a draft, we'd wipe out Iran and N. Korea.

However, we wouldn't win. In the process of enacting military victories, we'd lose our souls, our liberties, and our integrity.

It's kind of a no-win situation.
