First of all save all receipts for gas, travel to treatment etc. The American Cancer Society has a program that will help reimburse you for some of your expenses. Also there are local agencies that hold fund raisers and use the money locally to help cancer patients in their community. I got a 500 dollar check from one of them and some others got 1000 dollars. Medicaid will also help if you qualify financially.
