Have we really come to rely on computers and the internet so much our kids don't know how to mail a letter?

Yeah aren't we wonderful to make our children so lazy that they can't do anything without a remote, a computer, a vehicle, etc.
Crazy isn't it?

It clearly is not a reliance on computers problem. Most of the questions asked here can be answered very quickly using any search engine or even the "Search" button on YA!. I've met adults who don't know how to address and mail a letter prior to the introduction of the internet. The problem is much bigger than reliance on computers.

Yes. We have allowed education and parenting to degrade to the point that there is mass ignorance in this country. Instead of spending all our time designing new ways to insult a Bush or a Clinton, why can't we find ways to fix these two things? And, please, do not believe throwing more money around will fix any of the deep-seated issues.

well My daughter day care has a program where they do like the move from one country to another one and they send letters and post cards, it depends in some places we do care and show kids kool stuff dont u think ?
