Sinti is one form of Romani, the language or cluster of languages, spoken by the so-called Gypsies. There is debate among linguists over whether Romani is a single language with many divergent dialects, or a closely-related group of languages, of which Sinti is one.

Ethnic group of the same origin as Roma and similar groups, called often Gypsies. They are of Indian origin and the word itself may be is from Sindh (province of Pakistan now). It is thought that the name is old, because Sinti refuse to be called Roma and their language is a bit different. As far as I know, Sinti live mostly in Germany, really a very small group. Many exterminated during Holocaust.

Sinti is the name nomadic people of north-western Europe prefer to call themselves by.
They are called "Zigeuner" in German or "Gypsies" in English.
