I loved the 50's because life was so uncomplicated before my teenage years. I liked the clothes back then too,. Poodle skirts, penny loafers, saddle shoes. I grew up with American Bandstand and I still listen to doowop and other 50's music. I have 6 kids from 17 - 38 so I actually like and listen to the music from all decades. And I enjoy watching the "evolution" of the dance crazes. But I still think the 50's dances were best !

Does this have to be a decade we've actually lived in? I think I prefer some other century...

If I have to chose one I remember, the ZEROS!! The 70s were ugly clothes. The 80s I made a lot of mistakes. The 90s I lost too much. It just keeps getting better! ;-)

i like this one. i was born in the late seventies, several decades late mind you. i feel like a fifties woman. i think women should stay home and raise their families and men should provide for their families. we have forgotten the basics of civilization. man and woman need one another. our children lack family stability, morals, and ethics. well they lack a lot more, but i don't wanna waste our time by getting into that.

Theoretically the 1810s, as it was the last era of the Napoleonic Wars.

Practically the 1980s, since they gave me a lot of action around the world.
