this girls that i know want to go to new texas by amarillo but some people have told them that they are immigration people that will stop them on there ways and ask them for there green car

there is no border patrol when going state to state, just from country to country, like any of the US states that border mexico, or any of the US states that border Canada.

There are active border patrol officers all over the state, and yes, that includes Amarillo. If you can't get in legally, stay the hell out. There are plenty of good, law-abiding Mexican immigrants who did the right thing and came in legally. Do you think it's fair to "cut in line" in front of them? So get in line, go through the red tape, and EARN your right to be here.

There are immigration checkpoints spread out sporadically down major highways that come from mexico. We have checkpoints on the 15, and the highways at the Salton sea where immigration will stop and card you.

There are illegals in every state. I live in GA and you see them here. My friends from Michigan say they have a big problem with them!
No matter where you go, there plight will be there placing a burden on our society.
