One month, it was worth it because I got to figure out who he was before I decided to have a "physical relationship". We are broken up now but for different reasons. And if you really want to be with this person you definitely need to wait, otherwise (no matter what he says) is going to lose respect for you. And the key to getting a man in this situation is to let get to know YOU first before lying down with one another. I learned this the hard way....so good luck I hope I helped

I guess you could say 3 years. I met my wife 3 years before we actually got together for good. It was at a conference and at the time she was in a relationship so we didn't end up doing anything. Then three years later that relationship ended and we were able to see each other. It was definitely worth it.

The longest I waited was 7 months. I was incarcerated for reasons beyond my control, and all I had was letters from my wife to keep me going. (over 7 years ago). We got a hotel room, and a baby sitter the first time we got toghther after that. It was 2 days after my release. The first one was to spend with the kids, and other family members. The second night belonged to my wife and I.

4 months. Yes,it was worth it. Although the relationship didn't last as long as the courtship,it was still very good.Every relationship I ever had prepared me for what I now have. There have been a lot of women but none as good as the one I have now. We are engaged, and will be married in April.

a little over a year and a half..she was married at the time. and when she left him, it was around six months until I decided she and I were ready for em to make my move..and YES it was..so so worth the wait ...we were together for almost a year, then for some stupid reason we got bored then we lost track and then she got married again...OH well..she said to me a few years after she got married the second time...she wishes it was me married to her..and then I said I will wait for her...when ever if ever she is free again...

Four years, and it was with my current Hubby. We were friends throughout those years, but it's not to say that I didn't want him, or that he didn't want me.
I've had, er...flings before, but none of those can ever compare to how it felt when hubby and me were FINALLY intimate. So yes, I say it was well worth it. It made it more special, and different than my past partners.
-Take care-
